Stay or Go: 7 Key Free Agents the Eagles need to make a decision on
Nigel Bradham, LB
Nigel Bradham will be the next linebacker to see a nice payday in the NFL. Whether it is in Philadelphia or not, he will get it. The veteran linebacker finished out the 2017-2018 season with 88 tackles, leading the entire Eagles defense in total tackles. And if it weren’t for his stone hands, he could probably be up there with the rest of the secondary in interception totals.
But stone hands or not, Bradham showed that he could get his hands on the ball and make plays and that is all that matters. Imagine having a full season with Bradham, Mychal Kendricks, and Jordan Hicks. So much damage could be done and that is why the Eagles MUST make it a priority to re-sign Bradham.

Without Bradham, the panic mode will set in for the already thin linebacker core in Philadelphia. But with Bradham, the team won’t miss a beat next season as the majority of the defense is already signed on for the 2019 season.
Bradham served well in his two seasons in Philadelphia. Clearly, he was brought here because he would be considered a Jim Schwartz guy. So why would Bradham want to walk away from the system that made him very successful? The only obvious answer here would be money. So if you are expecting the Howie to break the bank on a free agent this offseason, we can almost guarantee you that it will be on one of our own.
