The Philadelphia Eagles injured reserve players are taking no days off.

Despite having Super Bowl success in 2017, the Philadelphia Eagles have been plagued with injuries. If it wasn’t for the incredible next-man-up mentality in the locker room, this team could’ve realistically missed the playoffs. They lost arguably their best offensive lineman, Jason Peters. Their star quarterback Carson Wentz went down. Special Teams ace and captain Chris Maragos was out. And middle linebacker Jordan Hicks dealt with injuries all season until he eventually was declared out with a ruptured Achilles.

The Eagles never seemed to throw in the white towel, though. As we all know, they would go on to finish the season as champs. So while most of the Super Bowl champions are out celebrating their offseason with a break, the Eagles injured reserve team is in the gym working hard at their comeback.

Eagles left tackle Jason Peters let us in on a sneak peak of the comeback through his Instagram account. Check out Peters, Wentz, Maragos, and more hard at work on Friday afternoon.

“The Grind Can’t stop, Won’t stop.”

This video isn’t the only sneak peek we have gotten all offseason, either. These guys have been at it almost every day since the Super Bowl festivities concluded. Considering the Eagles have the talent on the roster to make another run, the guys who missed out on the first Super Bowl win are getting ready to compete for a repeat.

Hopefully, Eagles general manager Howie Roseman can keep most of the squad together. The Eagles cap situation is among the worst in the NFL so we could expect some unexpected releases soon. Considering Jason Peters’ cap hit is over $10 million, he could be among the roster cuts if he doesn’t believe in restructuring his contract.

By the looks of it though, it could be a possibility. As we all know, Peters has been a leader in the Eagles locker room for close to a decade so it’s possible he could take a hometown discount. We will leave the figures to the suits and ties, though. We just know one thing is for sure, these guys look ready to get back on the full-time grind any day now.
