Maybe Jason Kelce said it best during the Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl parade. They’re from Philly, and no one likes them, not even the NFL league offices.

Okay, now it’s becoming personal. Almost two months after getting their behinds kicked in the NFC Championship Game, the Minnesota Vikings‘ fans are still complaining about allegedly being mistreated during their embarrassing 38-7 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field. Feel free to correct us if we’re wrong, but we don’t remember anyone ever losing a football game and being such sore losers.

The Eagles lost in three straight NFC Championship Game appearances, and they even lost a fourth under former head coach Andy Reid. You never heard about them complaining or claiming foul play in the losses. Oh, you haven’t heard? Per a report by Mike McFeely of INFORUM, It appears the NFL is launching an investigation into the behavior of some Eagles fans.

Are you serious?

Yes, you read that correctly. There’s no need to revisit what’s been said as most of you have been hearing this for over two months. Still, it appears Vikings fans are still complaining, and their complaints have made their way to league offices. What’s even more sad is, when you take a trip around the ‘Twitterverse’, you can find random thoughts and tweets about the possibility of the Vikings actually throwing the game.

One might wonder if they threw the NFC Championship Game in 2001 against the New York Giants or the one in 1998 versus the Atlanta Falcons. Maybe that’s another story for another day.

What’s hilarious in all of this is the fact that the Vikings continue to play the victim in all of this. No one remembers them doing the ‘Skol’ chant in front of Philadelphia’s Museum Of Art now?

Oh, there’s proof of that one:

Expect some changes to how rowdy fans are handled.

An email was apparently sent from the NFL’s chief security officer. Cathy Lanier contacted a Vikings Facebook group following her attempts, and attempts by the Philadelphia police department, to contact them following their experience. Some of their complaint is as follows:

"The notoriously rough Eagles fans, fueled by alcohol during hours of tailgating, infamously acted like thugs to Vikings fans in parking lots before the game and inside the stadium during it. They threw full beer cans, threatened to rape some female fans and unleashed a verbal, vulgar assault on anybody wearing purple or cheering for the Vikings."

Here’s some of Ms. Lanier’s response:

"We believe the interviews will help inform some recommendations going forward. … We want to incorporate any lessons learned into future improvements."

The NFL intends to ‘publicly announce changes that will be implemented going forward’. Oh, there’s one more thing. The Vikings visit the Eagles on opening night of the 2018 NFL season.
