The NFL Network has decided to feature both Carson Wentz and Nick Foles in their 2018 version of America’s Game: The Super Bowl Champions.

The Philadelphia Eagles‘ Super Bowl run will be documented in one of the NFL Network’s original programs, America’s Game: The Super Bowl Champions. For the first time in the show’s history, they’ll feature two quarterbacks, both Carson Wentz and Nick Foles. Those of you who have never caught a glimpse of one of these documentaries and have no idea what we’re talking about are in for a pleasant surprise.

Here’s something that doesn’t get talked about enough. The NFL Network’s done an excellent job of creating original content. Good Morning Football just might be the most entertaining early morning sports talk show. Programs like The Timeline and A Football Life are so well thought out and entertaining that one could argue they’re worthy of Emmy consideration.

Let’s get you caught up (if you’re still in the dark).

A new version of America’s Game has been created for each of the previous Super Bowls. They even created a spin-off series, America’s Game: The Missing Rings, dedicated to some of the best teams that never won football’s biggest game.

Typically, three representatives of the featured team serve as narrators. Most times, there’s an offensive player, a defensive player and a coach. As mentioned, for this one, the writers saw fit to feature two signal callers, Wentz and Foles. We imagine Doug Pederson will be invited to be one of the narrators as well.

Truthfully, it’s a nice touch. The bond between Wentz and Foles was one of the biggest stories of the 2017-18 season. It’s also the very reason Philly won the Lombardi Trophy at season’s end. It will  be exciting to see how the NFL Network chooses to present the story.
