Philadelphia Eagles top NFL Network’s post draft power rankings
Are the Philadelphia Eagles currently the NFL’s best team? The NFL Network seems to think so.
It’s been three months since the Philadelphia Eagles took their seat on the NFL‘s throne, and while the victory still appears to be fresh on the minds of their fans, the team itself stays focused on what’s been affectionately coined as ‘the new norm’. Normalcy isn’t just about playing games in February. It’s about the process it takes to get there.
If you’re expecting ‘The Birds’ to take their foot off of the gas, think again. Philly’s attacked this offseason in the same manner that they attacked the last. They’ve done so by shoring up at important positions and adding depth to areas where they already have talent.
In doing so, everyone’s taking notice. Expect the Eagles, who are entering the NFL season for the first time as the defending Super Bowl Champs, to have a target placed on their backs all season.
It’s too early for post season scenarios, but it’s natural to imagine the possibilities.

So who are the best teams in the NFC? It’s been a few short days since the most recent draft. We’re still a few months away from the start of training camp, but most of us are already playing prognosticator.
Does the addition of Kirk Cousins give the Minnesota Vikings enough firepower to get over the hump? Will Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints make another run at a Lombardi Trophy? Have the Los Angeles Rams made enough moves to be seen as the biggest threat to another Eagles title run?
All of the aforementioned NFL franchises found their way into the upper echelon of the NFL Network’s most recent power ranking, but when it was all said and done, Eagles fans would be every happy about where their favorite team ended up.

Sure, games aren’t always won by who looks the best on paper, but the Philadelphia Eagles appear to be continuing to enjoy the spoils of war. Soon, there will be a Super Bowl banner to hang at Lincoln Financial Field as well.
