Philadelphia Eagles: Check out highlights of Carson Wentz’s softball game
Sometimes, just talking about an event doesn’t do it enough justice. Check out highlights of Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz’s Charity Softball Game.
The ‘City of Brotherly Love’ just continues to fall further in love with Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz. When he began planning his first-ever charity softball game, he was told it would be smart to hold the event at a venue that could seat about 10,000. Those were supposed to be the realistic expectations.
Well, Mr. Wentz didn’t listen. It was a good thing that he didn’t. He, instead, went the route of borrowing Citizens Bank Park from the Philadelphia Phillies.
Take a look at what happened next:

25,000 fans, Eagles Chairman and CEO Jeffrey Lurie and about 25 of Wentz’s teammates showed up for the festivities. It was all a part of his AO1 (Army of One) Foundation’s effort to launch a new free food truck initiative. The name is the best part.
He’s going to call it ‘The Kingdom Crumb’.
Wentz launched his A01 Foundation in 2017 with the intention of “uplifting individuals and communities around the world by demonstrating God’s love for His people“.
Before that happened and ever since, we’ve seen him contribute to charity after charity on his way to using his platform as one of the gifted young quarterbacks in the NFL to make lives better for everyone that he comes into contact with.
As far as that on-field talent, he recently debuted on the NFL Network’s Top 100 Players of 2018 list. He finished at number three. It was the highest-rated debut in the history of the series.
