Life is about changing to adapt to the times we’re all living in, and the Philadelphia Eagles are doing exactly that. Meanwhile, Jason Kelce wants to be a part of your event calendar.

The next time you find yourself at Lincoln Financial Field for a Philadelphia Eagles game, take a trip to the concession stand. You’ll find it even more convenient to get yourself a drink or some nachos. According to a recent report from Kennedy Rose, an editorial intern with the Philadelphia Business Journal, ‘The Birds’ have partnered with Appetize to upgrade their point-of sale platform.

Appetize is a cloud-based system. They’re found in almost half of the professional sports venues in the U.S. Having their technology at ‘The Linc’ should make shopping for concessions a little more convenient.

Here’s the skinny.

Appetize may already be a name Eagles fans are already familiar with. All of their other products and inventory systems are already featured at the stadium. One other benefit is this would also allow concession features to be upgraded on a regular basis. That’s a much better option than having to go the route of replacing them every few years.

If there’s some sort of network outage, Appetize wouldn’t be affected. Even if you’re not a tech junky, that’s pretty awesome stuff.

Here’s something else of note. Eagles center Jason Kelce has kind of become a man about town. After single-handedly making himself the highlight of the Eagles’ Super Bowl victory parade, he’s been the toast of Philadelphia.

They’ve kind of adopted him as one of their favorite sons. Ever since that happened, his presence has been requested at an event or two.

Next on the event calendar is A Night of Philly Music. There, he’ll be serving as the host. This is scheduled for Saturday, July 21st at Ardmore Music Hall. Proceeds will go towards benefiting Make The World Better.

For the uninitiated, MTWB is a charity started by Connor Barwin, a man the Eagles’ organization and fan base wouldn’t have any trouble recognizing.
