Wait a second. Did Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham really call out Joe Haeg? The Colts may have been given some bulletin board material.

One of the areas that will decide Sunday’s matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and Indianapolis Colts will be which team’s defensive line can create pressure on the opposing team’s quarterback. That isn’t a fact that lost on Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham.

It’s one of the old cliches in not just the NFL but in all of football as well. If you can create constant pressure, you win. Indianapolis’ starting right guard, Joe Haeg, will spend a ton of his workday handling Graham duty.

According to Jimmy Kempsi of the Philly Voice, Graham may be licking his chops a little. Take a look at this:

Does that qualify as bulletin board material?

Let’s dig a little deeper.

Joe Haeg is enjoying his third season in the NFL. After earning the starting role in the preseason, he’s looked good during the first two weeks of the Colts’ schedule. Keeping Andrew Luck‘s jersey clean won’t be Haeg’s job completely, but with the amount of bodies that the Eagles are able to funnel in and out of their defensive line rotation, Haeg and everybody else on the Colts’ defensive line will earn every bit of their paychecks on Sunday.

That’s not to say that Graham, Fletcher Cox, Derek Barnett or any of the other Eagles defensive linemen are going to have a field day, but this unit for the Eagles has a way of wreaking havoc and creating opportunities for each other even if they aren’t registering huge sack totals themselves.

Call it bulletin board material if you wish. You can expect Graham and his teammates to back up every word of his comments. This one on Sunday should be fun.
