Philadelphia Eagles talk: One writer says Dallas will win NFC East
We’re in the home stretch, and one writer believes the Dallas Cowboys, not the Philadelphia Eagles, will win the NFC East and find their way into the NFL Playoffs.
We said it a while ago. Right around a month ago, we discussed a difficult stretch of games, and we stated they’d decide the Philadelphia Eagles‘ season. Here we are, with five games remaining in the 2018 regular season, and Philly will face both the Los Angeles Rams in a road game and the Houston Texans at Lincoln Financial Field.
Throw in two games versus the Washington Redskins and another date with a Dallas Cowboys team that they’ve already lost to, and the Eagles give new meaning to the word ‘gauntlet’.
Are the Eagles the best team in the NFC East?

According to one writer, Anthony Riccobono of the International Business Times, a favorable schedule for the Dallas Cowboys means that they, not the Eagles, will win the NFC East and find their way into the NFL Playoffs.
Dallas has home dates with the New Orleans Saints and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and they have a road game at Lucas Oil Stadium versus the Indianapolis Colts. The Washington Redskins are seen as having the easiest schedule of the NFC East teams who are still alive, but their starting quarterback, Alex Smith is done for the year.
They’ll be underdogs in a few of their final five games, but they’re not out of the hunt. They have three divisional games remaining, and they’re scheduled for road contests versus the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans.
It almost feels as though the playoffs have started already. The final month of the NFL season will be fun to watch.
