The Philadelphia Eagles share their new year’s resolution, and the plan shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone who’s paid attention.

New year’s resolutions can be tricky. Everyone claims to be focused on something that they could have focused on years ago. Everybody’ getting in shape. Everyone seeks a new beginning. For the Philadelphia Eagles, however, they don’t feel the need to change anything.

Last February, ‘The Birds’ made good on their resolution, to hoist the Lombardi Trophy at season’s end, and when the ball dropped to ring in 2019, the goals were made clear. They’re trying to hoist another one.

Take a look.

No Eagles fan will ever forget the confetti dropping or Doug Pederson being doused with Gatorade. They won’t forget Brandon Graham‘s strip-sack on Tom Brady and Derek Barnett‘s subsequent fumble recovery, nor will they forget Zach Ertz diving into the end zone for final the go-ahead score.

The parade can’t be forgotten. Neither can Jason Kelce‘s speech. Doggone it. Doug Pederson promised us a new norm, and we’re going to hold him to it.

Sure, 2018’s regular season was excruciating to watch at times, but that’s over. None of that matters now. Philly closed out the regular season party with three straight wins.

Now, if they can win four straight in the postseason, they’ll make good on a goal they set way back in February of 2018, getting back to the biggest game in all of sports and hoisting the Lombardi Trophy again.

Buckle up Eagles fans. Get ya popcorn ready.
