Stephen A Smith does it again in two episodes of ESPN’s First Take. Earlier this week he celebrated another Dallas playoff loss and weighed in on Philly’s quarterback situation.

Love him or hate him, there’s only one Stephen A Smith. One of the mainstays of ESPN’s highly-popular First Take has truly outdone himself this time. We’re speaking of his recent celebration of yet another Dallas Cowboys playoff loss. Then, we’ll talk a little about his thoughts on the Philadelphia Eagles‘ quarterback situation.

We begin with Monday’s opening segment of First Take. Mr. Smith donned a black cowboy hat and whipped out a cigar to celebrate Dallas’ Saturday night loss to the Los Angeles Rams. This shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone as he’s always taken every opportunity to antagonize Cowboys fans (a trait any Eagles fan would find endearing).

Take a look:

Stop calling it a dilemma. Stop calling it a controversy.

From that, we move on to some Eagle talk and something you probably haven’t heard about for fifteen minutes, the Carson Wentz and Nick Foles debate. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, believe it or not, we’re still discussing this.

After Philly’s divisional round loss, the stories resurfaced of whether or not Foles should stay or go and what should happen with Carson Wentz. The Eagles have expressed their commitment to Wentz as their long-term option for quite some time, but still, everyone continues to weigh in from fans to Brett Favre (yes, Favre).

Stephen A Smith touched on that topic as well. Here’s some of that conversation.

So, knowing what we know now, we turn the page from the 2018-19 season. In the end, we all got what we hoped for. If the Eagles weren’t going to win another Lombardi Trophy, we just wanted them to show the heart of a champion and defend their title proudly.

Jags could become favorites for Foles after their recent move. dark. Next

They did that, and though they went down, they went down swinging. What happens to Foles now? Does he go to the Jacksonville Jaguars? Will Philly make a play for Leonard Fournette or Jalen Ramsey? It hasn’t been stated, but at this point, you have to believe all deals are being considered.

We’ll soon see what happens.
