A very talented running back who some think is on the Philadelphia Eagles’ radar figures to be limited in NFL Combine workouts this week.

When we last saw Josh Jacobs and the Alabama Crimson Tide, they were on the wrong side of a lopsided final score in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game. By then, however, we had seen enough to demonstrate that Jacobs had the tools to succeed with the Philadelphia Eagles or any NFL team who would be willing to draft him.

Fast forward, and mock drafts are popping up, seemingly, by the minute, and if you take a look at them you’ll see certain names constantly. Josh Jacobs is one of them. Some NFL scouts believe that he could go early in the upcoming draft. Others believe he could slide to Philly at the 25th pick.

We, at ITI, mentioned recently that the NFL.com’s Charley Casserly was among the guys who stated Philly would go with the Alabama standout at pick 25, but those wanting to check him out at the upcoming NFL Combine will be a tad disappointed to find out that, thanks to a groin injury, he’ll be a tad limited during workouts.

The news was first reported by the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

It’s believed that Jacobs will sit out of a few drills, and so far, we aren’t certain if he’ll be able to participate in Alabama’s upcoming Pro Day on Tuesday, March 19th.

We trust that, as always, they’ll be representatives of every NFL team present for that one. We’ll have to wait and see what happens.
