We begin on defense.

Defensive end, Joe Ostman

With names like Derek Barnett, Vinny Curry, Brandon Graham, Josh Sweat, and Chris Long (possibly) on the list as the favorites, and with Shareef Miller being the new kid on the block, guys like Daeshon Hall and Joe Ostman seem to be the odd men out.

Eagles executive vice president of football operations Howie Roseman has been very complimentary of Ostman recently, and if he can leap someone on this roster or if he can slide into a spot left open by a departing Long (if that happens), it may not be that big of a surprise.

Defensive tackle, (Tie) Treyvon HesterHassan Ridgeway

You already know Treyvon Hester even if you think you don’t. He tipped that 43-yard field goal by Cody Parkey to help the Eagles win in Chicago. Ridgeway came to the Eagles by way of a trade on April 27th. Have you ever thought about what may happen if Timmy Jernigan isn’t back to one-hundred percent?

Maybe we should all take that into consideration.
