1. All of a sudden, this is the Eagles’ most experienced corner.

As mentioned, Scandrick’s suited up for 140 regular season NFL games over the course of his career with 76 starts. No other cornerback on Philly’s roster has more than 46 games of in-game experience. That’s a title that belongs to Ronald Darby.

His resume consists of 45 starts, but as you know, he isn’t healthy. Couple that with the fact that no one knows when he will be or what kind of shape he’ll be in when he returns, and we’re all left with an interesting proposition.

The former Cowboy may need to take on a leadership role throughout camp for some of the younger members of the Eagles secondary. Who had that thought in their mind a week ago?

2. What does PFF have to say?

Despite the recent belief that seems to be growing that supports the theory that Scandrick may be a part-time fix, Pro Football Focus sees him as a little more than that. They see him as a nice signing by the Eagles who can do well when called into action. Here are a few notes.

Let’s check out what some other experts are saying.
