99. Jerome Brown

The Eagles family lost Jerome Brown too soon, and had he been given more time on this planet, he would have been a first-ballot Hall of Fame inductee (and Norman Braman probably would have let him go in free agency).

98. Connor Barwin

Here’s some information that you can turn into a trivia question at your next family get together. How many of you knew Mike Ditka was an Eagle? Ditka’s best years were spent elsewhere, but come on. It’s ‘Iron Mike’ guys.

As for Connor Barwin, 211 total tackles, 33.5 sacks, five forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, and an interception during his four years in Philly earn him the title as the best ’98’ in team history.

97. Rhett Hall

Rhett Hall started 31 of his 33 games in an Eagles jersey, producing 13.5 sacks, 111 total tackles (77 were solo), a forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, and a defensive touchdown over that span.

96. Clyde Simmons

Will Derek Barnett take over this spot one day? For now, only one name can be placed here. It’s been said time and time again. We’ll state it once more. There’s no logical reason why Clyde Simmons isn’t in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

His 966 career tackles (914 were solo), 121.5 career sacks, 25 forced fumbles, 14 fumble recoveries, and two defensive touchdowns are evidence of that.

95. William Fuller

William Fuller stands head and shoulders over the likes of Victor Abiamiri and Jerome McDougle as the best Eagle to ever wear 95.

Believe it or not, Philly also had Richard Dent for the 1997 season, playing in a ‘designated pass rusher’ role for them, but by then, his best days were already behind him.
