Though Dallas figures to be in the conversation as the Philadelphia Eagles’ biggest threat in the NFC East, 22 out of 28 NFL analysts believe the ‘Birds’ will claim the top spot.
Buckle up ladies and gentlemen because for the next four months (and hopefully longer), you’re going to be inundated with more information than you can handle about the Philadelphia Eagles and, if you’re interested, the other 31 NFL franchises. There will be power rankings and overreactions about every loss. There will be eruptions on the ‘Twitterverse’ if Doug Pederson makes a bad play call.
To be honest, it’s already started.

The final game wasn’t even complete and the final 53-man roster wasn’t even put together before NFL.com got 28 analysts together to give their opinions on who will win the NFL’s eight divisions and who will represent each conference as the Wildcard teams.
How did Philly make out? 22 of those 28 analysts say the NFC East will belong to the Eagles in 2019. It appears that in their minds, once again, there won’t be a repeat champion.

If you’re interested, eight analysts also see the Cowboys as the fifth-seeded Wildcard team. Six of them, say the Cowboys barely sneak in the NFL Playoffs and wind up as the sixth seed.
Winning on paper is one thing. The Eagles boast one of the best rosters in professional football. We’ll see if all of that translates to the field
