There isn’t much out there, but here are ten under-the-radar free-agent cornerbacks that the Philadelphia Eagles may want to consider.

What an amazing win at historic Lambeau Field on Thursday Night Football! The Philadelphia Eagles improve to .500 (2-2) after scoring an impressive win over a favored Green Bay Packers team. It wasn’t always pretty, but a win is a win.

Speaking of ugly, try this on for size. Here’s a list of the cornerbacks on the Eagles roster that we know are healthy or close to it: Rasul Douglas and Craig James. That’s it. Ronald Darby is out. Sidney Jones left the field in Week 4 with a hamstring injury. Avonte Maddox left the field on a stretcher.

Thankfully, Maddox was reported as having movement in all of his extremities by the team, and we all love seeing that. Still, this Eagles team needs help in the secondary. We’re all waiting for an announcement that the Eagles have successfully traded for Jalen Ramsey.

Everybody’s got their fingers crossed, but we all realize it may never happen. In the meantime, here’s a list of ten under-the-radar free agents that the Eagles should, at least, consider taking a look at and one sentence on each one of them.

Captain Munnerlyn: Captain Munnerlyn is a guy that’s had an up-and-down career but could be serviceable if given a shot with a talented defense.

Orlando Scandrick: Orlando Scandrick is very familiar with the Eagles scheme, and some may be wondering why he hasn’t been re-signed yet.

David Amerson: Last season, David Amerson notched 21 tackles, two passes defended, and one interception in five starts with the Arizona Cardinals, and you can probably argue they’re missing him right now.

Coty Sensabaugh: In 2018, Coty Sensabaugh played in 14 games for the Pittsburgh Steelers with four starts, and he racked up 22 tackles, three passes defended, and one interception for his trouble.

Bene Benwikere: The latter part of his career has seen Bene Benwikere become a bit of a journeyman, but he’s also racked up 155 tackles, 1.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, 25 pass deflections, and three interceptions in 54 games with 22 starts.

Leon Hall: Yes, Leon Hall is 34, but if he’s healed from a back injury that ended his 2018 season this former member of the PFWA All-Rookie Team  (2007) may be worth a look.

Craig Mager: Craig Mager has youth on his side and 40 tackles, six pass deflections, and an interception on his resume.

Lafayette Pitts: All we really know about Lafayette Pitts is he was a core special teams player for the Buffalo Bills, but could he shine if given a chance?

dark. Next. 3 Players that stood out against the Packers

Davon House: We all forgot about Davon House after a shoulder injury ended his 2018, but he was a very good player before that.

Shareece Wright: Some may complain that Shareece Wright is part of the 30-and-over club, but can you honestly say that he isn’t better than Ronald Darby?
