Finally, the Philadelphia Eagles find some consistency. ‘The Birds’ come up huge with a much-needed win at Lambeau Field.

Who cares about stats after that one? That is, unless, of course, some of these guys are on your Fantasy football team. The Philadelphia Eagles touched every single one of the emotions as ‘the Birds’ came up big on the road and took care of business against a previously-undefeated Green Bay Packers team.

Doug Pederson remains perfect on Thursday Night Football, and Philly is successful in handing ‘The Pack’ their first loss of the season.

Alshon Jeffery returned and found his way into the end zone. Every Eagles fan that’s been clamoring for more touches for Jordan Howard got their wish. ’24’ reached the end zone three times. Aside from a bad-looking throw on third down to Jeffery that wound up being incomplete, Wentz was mostly sharp. Well, that’s if you throw out those first two drives.

Just before midnight on the East Coast, one final pass from Aaron Rodgers was tipped and landed in the waiting hands of Nigel Bradham. The Eagles would lose two more members of their secondary, both Sidney Jones and Avonte Maddox. They’ll, both, be the topic of discussion tomorrow, and everyone hopes they’re okay.

For now, every Eagles fan can breathe easier. Philly evens their record at 2-2, and now, they’ll have a nice plane ride home. They’ll recoup. They’ll refocus, and hopefully, they’ll produce a similar result (without the roller-coaster ride of emotions) when the New York Jets come to town in a little less than ten days. We expect to see a returning Sam Darnold in that one.
