Ladies and gentlemen, the New England Patriots are no longer the best team in the NFL. The Baltimore Ravens are. That doesn’t mean the Pats won’t be the Ravens if these two teams meet in the AFC Playoffs. That doesn’t mean that the Ravens will win the Super Bowl. It doesn’t mean that they won’t either.

All it means is the Ravens are very special, and with Lamar Jackson leading the charge, this team can be very good for a long time.

Nobody panic. The Patriots are still the Patriots. Their quarterback is still Tom Brady. Their head coach is still Bill Belichick. Every team struggles, even one that’s a dynasty within a dynasty, but when it comes down to it, stagnant offense or not, there aren’t going to be many games that New England won’t be favored in, including a potential rematch with the Ravens in January.

Keep in mind, at the rate things are going, that rematch would be held in Foxborough, Massachusetts, not in Baltimore, Maryland.
