Philadelphia Eagles: 3 Huge roster announcements for Week 13
The Philadelphia Eagles shake up the roster prior to Week 13’s game. One move is a surprise. The other two shouldn’t surprise anyone.
On the eve of the Philadelphia Eagles‘ Week 13 date with the Miami Dolphins, the ‘Birds’ shook up the roster a little. We all knew that there was an open roster space, and they filled it. We knew that there was a question about Jordan Howard‘s status for Sunday. They answered it. We thought Cre’von LeBlanc may have a chance of being added to the active roster. We finally have our answer on that as well.
We have much to discuss guys and gals.
Our worst fears are confirmed. Our prayers are answered.

Right around lunchtime on the Saturday before Philly’s Week 13 game, ‘The Birds’ announced three roster moves. As we all thought for the majority of the week leading up to the game, Jordan Howard has been ruled out for Sunday. The Eagles have also activated Cre’Von LeBlanc from the IR (injured reserve). Defensive tackle Albert Huggins was waived in a subsequent move.
Recently, after releasing Jordan Matthews, the Eagles activated a 21-day practice window for LeBlanc. That meant they could add him to the active roster at any time during that span. If they didn’t, he’d return to the IR for the remainder of the season at the end of that 21-day window.
We also knew there was another open roster space. The Eagles have filled that by elevating tight end Joshua Perkins from the practice squad. Both LeBlanc and Perkins will be available for Saturday. We’ll see is they play or not.
