5. Jordan Matthews

Sadly, if the Eagles were desperate enough to bring Jordan Matthews back for a fourth stint with the team, this wouldn’t come as a surprise at all to fans.

Philadelphia fans can joke about Matthews coming and going all these years, but if the wideout can find a way to make an impact over the final three games, this is all they would really care about the most.

During the middle of November, Philadelphia brought Matthews on board for the third time to see if he could help fill the void left by a few injured receivers before the Eagles decided to waive him two weeks later.

As bad as it sounds, if the Eagles really felt confident enough in Matthews being able to make an impact in the passing game, they most likely would have kept him around for the remainder of the season.

Matthews certainly has the right to feel upset over Philadelphia’s decision to release him a few weeks ago, but also it’s safe to say he would welcome the opportunity to re-join the team in the heartbeat.

And maybe this time around, Matthews would be able to step up for the Eagles, unlike the second half of November.
