4. Wentz could use extra help

The fact that Philadelphia will finish the 2019 season without a single wide receiver recording more than 500 yards shows what kind of year it’s been for Carson Wentz adjusting to all of the injuries on offense.

Even if Wentz has rightfully been criticized at times for his inability to hang on to the football since the issue has been on display over the last few years, the quarterback still deserves plenty of credit for finding success with the current weapons he has to work with.

There aren’t many quarterbacks across the league that would be able to be successful with receivers like JJ Arcega-Whiteside and Greg Ward Jr. to work with, but this shows how great Wentz has been for the Eagles.

Of course, the preference for Philadelphia would be the offense weren’t the victim of so many unfortunate injuries to key players such as Alshon Jeffery or DeSean Jackson, but unfortunately this is out of the Eagles control.

This season especially has helped Philadelphia appreciate the value at the wide receiver position, and since Wentz can always use an extra weapon to work with in the passing game, just imagine what the addition of a talented player in Lamb could do.
