Philadelphia Eagles Roundup: James Franklin shows Miles Sanders some love
On the days leading up to the 2019 Cotton Bowl, James Franklin was surely busy, but that didn’t stop him from showing Eagles rookie running back Miles Sanders some love.
If you haven’t been paying attention, James Franklin has done one heck of a job in turning the Penn State Nittany Lions around. On the same day that the NCAA College Football Playoff was to be played and one day before the Philadelphia Eagles play their season finale, Franklin’s squad had a date with the Memphis Tigers in 2019’s version of the Cotton Bowl Classic, but that didn’t stop him from showing his former student, Miles Sanders, some love.
Don’t tell yourself that these coaches at the collegiate level don’t care about these guys. They definitely keep up with them.

Both of those totals equate to franchise records.
He’s created quite the name for himself over these past few weeks. He’s now a hot topic and one of the names being mentioned for the NFL‘s Offensive Rookie of the Year Award. With a game to go in the regular season, fans are all hoping that he saves his best regular-season performance for his last.
