5. Seattle Seahawks

Not only will the Eagles face the Seattle Seahawks in the opening round of the playoffs this Sunday, but Philadelphia will get to host Russell Wilson and company for the second year in a row during the 2020 season.

More from Inside the Iggles

When taking into consideration that Wilson has never lost to Philadelphia (4-0) in his career, the Eagles already know this matchup against the Seahawks next season will be one of the toughest ones on the schedule next year.

Over the years, Wilson has been one of the most difficult quarterbacks to keep in check, and with the star quarterback continuing to play at a MVP level, he isn’t showing signs of slowing down anytime soon.

Seeing how these two teams will be meeting for the second time this current season in the playoffs, there’s a good chance this could be a similar situation next year as well where the regular season meeting turns out to be an early playoff preview.

The fact that Seattle has only missed out on the playoffs once since 2012 when Wilson came into the league shows just how effective of team the Seahawks have been over the years, so the Eagles will certainly have their work cut out once again.
