Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham may have gotten snubbed by the Pro Bow voters again but at least one group of NFL die-hards has given him the nod.

The more things change, the more they stay the same. Believe it or not, Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham has never made the Pro Bowl. That’s got to go down as one of the biggest oversights by NFL fans ever.

At this point, knowing that brings up a very serious question. Sure, Graham is still great, but he’s clearly past his prime. Is it safe to say that he may never get the proper amount of shine that he deserves?

More from Inside the Iggles

Once, Graham got his when a superb season in 2016 helped him earn Second-team All-Pro honors. Since then, he’s been ignored, but some guys are watching and some guys get it. Recently, PFF graded the best edge rushers of the decade, and Graham wound up third.

He boasts an overall grade of 92.1. That ties him with Cameron Wake. Only Von Miller and Khalil Mack graded higher, earning marks of 94.6 and 93.5 respectively. His 51 sacks are fifth all-time in franchise history. Add that to 17 forced fumbles and six career fumble recoveries.

Oh, and by the way, he’s also tallied 370 total tackles. 278 have been of the solo variety, and 91 have resulted in a loss of yardage. He’ll probably never wind up with a bust in Canton, but his place in Eagles lore has long been secure.

Who knows? We may see ’55’ in the franchise’s Hall of Fame one day. No ‘Birds’ fan will complain if he does.
