Let’s give out a few pats on the back and a few kicks in the rear end. Here are ten five studs and duds from the Philadelphia Eagles’ 2019 season.

What a ride it was. By now, the hope is you’ve calmed down from whatever anger you harbored for Jadeveon Clowney, how things ended, and what might have happened if Carson Wentz was able to be on the field for the entire NFC Wild Card Game. If you’re a Philadelphia Eagles fan, you should be proud today.

Eagles fans are tough. They’re hard-working. They push themselves daily to be the best at whatever their profession is. Eagles fans everywhere and the ones who reside in the ‘City of Brotherly Love’ come in all shapes, sizes, and nationalities. Just look at some of the names: Kobe Bryant, Will Smith, Meek Mill, Boyz II Men, Kevin Hart, Carli Lloyd. We could go on and on, but you get the idea.

They’re some of the best in their field, regardless of what that field is. That’s why they’re so tough on their team. They expect the same quality and effort from the team they cheer for. They got that in 2019.

No team was ravaged by more injuries at important positions or had more of a reason to hang their heads than the ‘Birds’, but they never did that. Instead, they persevered. They fought. Heck, their 40-year-old backup quarterback played with a torn hamstring in their final game for goodness sakes. They won a division title and played in a playoff game. They gave all they had to give.

It was a great season, full of ups and downs. Let’s hand out a few awards and a few boots to the rear end. Here are five studs and five duds from the 2019-2020 campaign.
