3. Cornelius Lucas

Believe it or not, the Bears marked the fourth team Cornelius Lucas played for in four seasons, as the offensive lineman has found it difficult to find a consistent home over the years.

For obvious reasons, this may seem frustration on Lucas’ end since it would be great if the Kansas State product didn’t always have to worry about his next team, but on a positive note, the case can be made that 2019 was his best NFL season production wise.

Not only did Lucas manage to start every game for Chicago during the regular season, but he even found a way to make eight starts.

When it comes to the offensive line situation for the Eagles, no one needs to explain just how much of a priority protecting Carson Wentz has become over the last couple of years due to all the injuries.

Someone like Lucas wouldn’t necessarily guarantee in starting right away, but a depth move like this could work wonders for Philadelphia, especially since players like Jason Peters aren’t getting any younger.

Plus, even though Lucas is coming off his best NFL season, there’s a good chance the Eagles would be able to get the lineman at a favorable price, which could be a huge help in regards to potentially signing other players as well.
