3. Brandon Dunn

Despite being in the NFL since 2014 after previously signing with the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent, Brandon Dunn just recently recorded his first career sack this past season, making it clear he is far from being a top defensive player in the league.

However, there is a reason why Houston has kept Dunn around over the last four seasons, as the defender appeared in all but two games for the Texans on defense, and managed to record 24 starts.

Obviously, the addition of someone like Dunn isn’t going to solve everything for the Eagles on the defensive side of the football, but just having the depth to the line cold work wonders for the unit in 2020.

To say Philadelphia was one of the biggest victims of the injury bug this past season would be a huge understatement, and even though the defensive line didn’t see as much of an impact, a team like the Eagles could always use the extra depth.

Even if Dunn doesn’t seem like the most attractive free agency option for the Eagles, it should also be noted if the interest were there, Philadelphia would most likely be able to sign him at a favorable price as well.
