Depending on how things play out with Jordan Howard since the Eagles could easily move on from the running back after only one season, Philadelphia could look to the draft to add another weapon to the backfield to put the offense in better shape.

As much excitement as there is at the moment over the potential duo of Miles Sanders and Boston Scott moving forward after the results of last season, the Eagles can always use extra help at running back just in case.

When taking into consideration that Michael Warren II rushed for 33 touchdowns during his final two years at Cincinnati, and he wouldn’t be facing the pressure of having to be the top option in the backfield, a selection like this could work out perfect for both parties.

Establishing a reliable and consistent ground game for 2020 to take as much pressure off Carson Wentz as possible under center is going to be extremely important for the Eagles moving forward in order to remain a top contender in the NFC.

By adding another young running back to the mix like Warren, Philadelphia would have nothing to lose in this situation, and could end up with another secret weapon to work with on offense.
