You can always depend on Tigers to provide some NFL talent, and this year is no exception. Don’t be surprised if, in this year’s selection meeting, you hear a few names mentioned from LSU’s stable of linebackers. In addition to Phillips, there’s K’Lavon ChaissonPatrick Queen, and this guy, Michael Divinity.

You may hear some questions about his character, but if Philly’s satisfied by what they learn from any pre-draft interviews, they may decide that he provides the team with some mid-round value if the plan is to take a linebacker between the end of Round 3 or sometime before Round 6.

With LSU being loaded at the position and due to a six-game suspension that he had to serve, Divinity didn’t earn the same amount of snaps as some of his teammates, but he did make the most of his opportunities. In 2019, he racked up 22 tackles, three sacks, and a forced fumble in five appearances.

We’ll have to wait and see if the ‘Birds’ show any interest.
