3 potential free agent targets for Eagles from Vikings in 2020
By Dan Parzych
3. Sean Mannion
Around this time last year, Sean Mannion was considered to be one of the most underrated free agents at quarterback, mainly because of the previous time spent working with Sean McVay and the Los Angeles Rams.

After seeing the results behind McVay helping Jared Goff reach new levels under center, Mannion was hoping to draw plenty of interest from teams in need of help at backup quarterback while receiving a hefty pay raise in the process.
Unfortunately, there weren’t as many teams expressing interest in Mannion as originally thought, although ending up on Minnesota seemed to work out well for both parties.
Does this mean the Vikings are willing to give it another go with Mannion for 2020 to make sure they have the necessary insurance in case Kirk Cousins were to get hurt?
While this could very well turn out to be the case, if the Vikings do end up deciding to part ways with Mannion, this could be an option for the Eagles to consider if Nate Sudfeld is no longer part of the picture.
Even if Mannion has yet to throw a single touchdown pass in five seasons as a backup, if the Rams and Vikings felt confident enough to rely on him if needed, the Eagles should do the same.
