Arizona Cardinals: Patrick Peterson

Isn’t it crazy to think that 2019 marked the first time in Patrick Peterson’s career in which the cornerback didn’t earn Pro Bowl honors?

When taking into consideration that Peterson first joined the Arizona Cardinals back in 2011 following an amazing career at LSU, eight years in a row was quite an impressive streak for the veteran cornerback.

But as great as Peterson has been throughout his career with Arizona, he has also seen his name thrown around trade rumors on numerous occasions, although nothing has obviously ever happened since he’s still currently with the team at this point in the offseason.

With this in mind, it only seems fair to list Peterson as the dream target for the Eagles from the Cardinals since he would help fill the need at cornerback on defense.

Philadelphia may have recently acquired Slay to be their top cornerback, but just imagine what kind of duo the defense would have if Peterson were to become part of the picture as well.

Behind Slay, the Eagles actually have a few candidates for the No. 2 job at cornerback such as Sidney Jones and Avonte Maddox, meaning if the opportunity were there to upgrade, Philadelphia certainly wouldn’t hesitate.
