7 players Eagles have best chance of trading up for in 2020 NFL Draft
By Dan Parzych
A few months ago, Mekhi Becton seemed like a strong candidate to still be available late in the first round, meaning the Eagles could have been in perfect position to select the Louisville product at No. 21 to add depth to their offensive line.

However, Becton is one of numerous players who has seen his stock rise over the last couple of weeks, which is obviously great for him, but unfortunate for Philadelphia.
Even though the Eagles seem like a team that should focus on wide receiver or possibly cornerback with their first selection of the draft, Becton seems like he would be the perfect addition to Doug Pederson’s offense to help Wentz feel less pressure under center.
From his impressive strength to power in the run game, Becton appears to be heading towards a rookie campaign in 2020 where he will find a way to make an impact right away, whether it happens to be in Philadelphia or somewhere else.
The Eagles could always take the risk of hoping Becton slips far enough in the first round to avoid giving up any draft picks, but also if the interest ends up being there and they miss out, the last thing Philadelphia wants to feel is regret.
