Wide Receiver. Arizona State. 5. 854. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Brandon Aiyuk. player

Brandon Aiyuk deserves plenty of credit for basically doubling his production from a year ago at Arizona State after finishing the 2019 season with 65 catches for 1,192 yards to go along with eight touchdowns.

If Aiyuk’s time with the Sun Devils is any indication of what to expect at the NFL level, the wideout appears to be the kind of wideout who will only continue to get better with experience, which is great news for the Eagles or any other team expressing interest.

Like most young players preparing for the NFL, Aiyuk has a few key areas that will need to improve if he’s going to be successful, with his route-running ability immediately coming to mind.

However, the good news is Aiyuk at least makes up for some of his weaknesses in other areas, whether it happens to be gaining yards after catches or simply acceleration.

Some Eagles fans may feel somewhat concerned over Aiyuk appearing to be a work in progress, but also Philadelphia is in a position where they can afford to be patient with his development if needed.

Plus, with veterans like Jackson and Jeffery, Aiyuk could be in position as a rookie to learn from two of the best the Eagles have to offer.
