In a way, it was pretty embarrassing to watch Dallas fail to take advantage of Philadelphia dealing with all their injuries last season since the Cowboys should have been able to win the NFC East with ease, but the Eagles certainly weren’t disappointed by the results.
But of course, Philadelphia is smart enough to realize the chances of them being able to pull this off again in 2020 during a similar scenario will be a long shot to happen, especially if Dallas manages to improve at certain positions.
Just like every other team entering the draft, the Cowboys have a few positions in need of improvement, one of which happens to be cornerback.
Over the last few weeks, Florida‘s C.J. Henderson has seen his name mentioned all over the place in mock drafts, but once the draft gets underway on Thursday, there’s a good chance the cornerback will end up being selected in the middle of the first round.
Henderson’s tackling is certainly one area that will need to improve at the NFL level, but at least with the current situation at cornerback for the Cowboys, he would still be able to compete for a starting spot as a rookie.
