Plenty of Philadelphia fans still seem to be unhappy over the selection of Reagor due to the desire to land Lamb or Jefferson, but all things considered, this was a solid pick for the Eagles.
Not only will Reagor’s speed provide Wentz with another weapon to work with in the passing game who should be reliable for years to come, but Philadelphia can also use his talents to their advantage as a returner on special teams as well.
One can only imagine how different things would have been if the Eagles were able to pull off a trade to land Lamb, but this shouldn’t take away from the excitement surrounding Reagor.
Also, the argument can be made that part of the reasons teams weren’t as high on Reagor was due to his numbers at TCU, which critics need to realize could have been better with a different quarterback to work with.
Luckily for Reagor, the opportunity to work with Wentz should result in much better numbers at the NFL level, and help fans feel better over how things played out in the first round to address the need at wide receiver early on.
