7. Joe Flacco

Before the selection of Hurts in the draft, there was some talk over the possibility of Joe Flacco coming to Philadelphia since the veteran quarterback grew up in the area, and seemed like he would be able to push Nate Sudfeld as well.

Hurts appears to have a legitimate shot at beating out Sudfeld for the No. 2 spot at the moment, but if the Indiana product were to end up battling Flacco for the third and final quarterback spot, the former Super Bowl MVP would arguably be the favorite.

Flacco has unfortunately taken a bit of a step back over the last few seasons, and is coming off an extremely disappointing campaign in 2019 as a member of the Denver Broncos, but at least he can bring experience to the table.

At this stage in his career, Flacco’s experience and previous leadership seems like the only thing he can bring to the table entering the 2020 season, as his presence could even teach Wentz to take his game to another level.

Of course, as previously mentioned, Philadelphia doesn’t need to sign another quarterback as much as other positions at the moment, and the thought of Sudfeld as the No. 3 option doesn’t sound like the worst idea in the world either.

But also, if it came down to choosing between Flacco and Sudfeld, this would almost seem too easy for the Eagles.
