The Philadelphia Eagles added four wide receivers on draft weekend, bringing the number of wideouts on the roster to 14, but who will be Carson Wentz’s weapons come week one?

Going into the offseason, the Philadelphia Eagles knew its biggest need was finding dynamic catchers of the football. There wasn’t a single wideout on the roster who accumulated 500 yards last season, and somehow Carson Wentz still threw for over 4,000 yards. As amazing as that sounds, if this team wants to be successful in 2020, that has to change.

Vice president and general manager Howie Roseman and head coach Doug Pederson pulled the trigger on four speedsters in three days during the NFL Draft. As it sits right now that room has become a crowded one, so come training camp, the battle is going to be one of the team’s best and most intense.

There’s a chance that the Eagles could field a receiving corps in 2020 and all but two will have never caught a pass in a regular-season game pass from Carson Wentz. That makes the shortened offseason programs, which will probably be shortened, that much more important.

As it sits right now, here is a list of all 14 receivers on the depth chart:

  • DeSean Jackson
  • Alshon Jeffery
  • Marquise Goodwin
  • J.J. Arcega-Whiteside
  • Greg Ward Jr.
  • Jalen Reagor
  • John Hightower
  • Quez Watkins
  • Deontay Burnett
  • Shelton Gibson
  • Marcus Green
  • Robert Davis
  • Marken Michel
  • River Cracraft

Yes, we all love our way-too-early 53-man roster predictions, but the wide receiver position is and will continue to be an area of focus, so, let’s break this down a little more in-depth. We begin with the veterans.
