Eagles fans have long resigned themselves to the idea that Jason Kelce isn’t going to play forever, and even though the three-time Pro Bowl nod announced that he’d return for the 2020-2021 season, every snap he takes will be evaluated closely in an attempt to determine whether or not he’s going to hang up the cleats.

Philly needs to make some serious efforts to find his replacement, especially after handing the Dallas Cowboys a center thanks to a trade that occurred between these two age-old rivals in 2020’s version of the draft.

In 2020, Creed Humphrey is as good a prospect as any. He was the Big 12’s Offensive Lineman of the Year, and he also earned a First-team All-Big 12 nod in 2019.

Hopefully, he’ll still be on the board in Round 2, but If he isn’t available at that time, there’s a backup plan. Philly goes with Alec Lindstrom, the younger brother of Chris Lindstrom. If you have a chance to catch any Boston College games in 2020, make sure you give him a look.

Philly would be in great shape with either selection. In this scenario, both have worked their way into the top five centers of the 2021 class.
