3 dream trade targets for Eagles from Bills before 2020 training camp
By Dan Parzych
3. Jerry Hughes
Even though Philadelphia may seem hesitant to acquire a veteran in Jerry Hughes who will be turning 32 in August, the defensive end continues to play at a high enough level to make it seem like there is still plenty of gas left in the old tank.

The fact that Hughes has basically been a consistent starter for the Bills dating back to the 2014 season shows how valuable he’s been to the defense in recent years, as the group has been able to establish themselves as a top unit in the league.
With Buffalo finally earning the recognition it deserves, it would take a lot for the team to give up on a key veteran like Hughes, but also keep in mind Philadelphia could always benefit from the factor of the defender entering the final year of his contract.
If the Bills were to decide to take the approach of getting a pick or player in return now instead of risking losing Hughes later on down the road, a trade before camp could work out for both parties involved, whether it was the Eagles or another team.
No one needs to explain the importance behind Philadelphia’s defense continuing to be in tip-top shape entering the 2020 season when seeing how competitive the NFC East is expected to be.
And even though Hughes doesn’t stand out like some of the other pass rushers across the league, this could be an underrated move for the Eagles.
