1. It’s hard to discredit what he’s said about the Philadelphia Eagles’ star quarterback and this PFF ranking.

Let’s be honest. If we’re going to ever truly understand how PFF’s rankings work, they’re going to have to hire a professor and start teaching their version of analytics at some of these institutions of higher learning.

Recently, as Cowherd mentioned, they released their Top 50 best players entering the 2020 season. Wentz didn’t make the list. Then, they added a list of ten guys who were just outside of the top 50. Again, Wentz wasn’t mentioned. It probably wouldn’t be right to go blow for blow and state why he should be on the list over certain guys that were named. Most of you can do that on your own.

Instead, let’s do this. Say this out loud to yourself. “There are 60 guys in the NFL right now who are more important to the success of their team than Wentz is to Philadelphia’s. Come on. You saw how this guy turned it on down the stretch in 2019. You still don’t believe that, do you?
