Philadelphia Eagles fans everywhere are hoping what happened at the collegiate level translates.

In his final two seasons, Warren had 14 games in which he ran for over 100 yards. He also added 12 multi-touchdown games. When he had a good day, it was usually a monster performance.

In 2018, he had a notable performance against South Florida collecting 178 total yards (151 rushing and 27 receiving) on 30 touches (5.9 yards per touch). What was more impressive was that he had four of Cincinnati’s five total touchdowns, in what was a 35-23 victory. One of those touchdowns was a 57-yarder in the third quarter to put the Bearcats up 21-16, after trailing to start the second half.

Just a few weeks later in the season finale, Cincinnati faced a Power 5 opponent in Virginia Tech in the Military Bowl. Warren wasn’t going to pass up an opportunity to win Miltary Bowl MVP. He did just that, with 166 rushing yards 20 carries (8.3 yards per carry), along with two touchdowns. The biggest of those four touchdowns was the go-ahead and eventual game-winning score with just 1:29 remaining on the clock to finish off an 11-win season for Cincinnati.

Just this past year, Warren had an exceptional performance early on against Miami Ohio. While he only touched the ball 17 times, he racked up 158 total yards (9.3 yards per touch) and three touchdowns. This really paved the way for another incredible season.

It’s safe to say that without Michael Warren, the Bearcats probably wouldn’t have won 22 of their 27 games in the past two seasons. He checks all the boxes from a numbers standpoint.
