. . . Wentz finds D'Jax deep (twice). 5. player. 54

Philadelphia Eagles fans are treated to a little nostalgia.

When DeSean Jackson rode back into the “City of Brotherly Love”, he did so like a conquering hero. As the hated Washington Football Team took the field (and then jumped out to an early lead), the same thought went through every Eagles fan’s head. “Someone’s got to make a play”.

Then, just like that, and in the blink of an eye, someone did. A familiar face that many of us hadn’t seen in a while did what he had done so many times before. DeSean went deep, outran the coverage, and scored on a long, long touchdown pass, two of them actually.

Philly took the lead, and even though the defense wasn’t able to put their foot on Washington’s neck and impose their will to complete things (they gave up seven points on an impressive drive by the rivals late), “D-Jax” helped lift his team to victory.

He’ll be back in 2020 along with fellow speedsters Marquise Goodwin, Jalen Reagor, and potentially, Quez Watkins and John Hightower. Let’s hope that means bombs from Carson Wentz‘s arm come fast and frequent in 2020. That’s what made us fall in love with “10” in the first place, and that’s why his heroic efforts earned him a spot on this list.
