Expect some surprises by these Philadelphia Eagles come Saturday.

Time is winding down. By the time this story is published or by the time most of you read it, the Philadelphia Eagles and all of the other 31 NFL teams will be less than 24 hours away from the league’s 4 p.m. EST deadline for officially submitting their final 53-man roster.

Some decisions will be tougher than others. On what ‘Birds’ fans affectionately refer to as ‘Wentzday’, the team’s defensive coordinator, Jim Schwartz spoke with several members of the Philly media and said there would be ‘difficult decisions’ to make concerning the safety position.

Since then, on Thursday, the ‘Bird’ officially placed left tackle Andre Dillard on the team’s IR (injured reserve) and waived 12 more prospects. Then, they released defensive tackle T.Y. McGill  and cornerback Trevor Williams on Friday before announcing that they were waiving defensive back Michael Jacquet, defensive end Matt Leo, and tight end Caleb Wilson several hours later. As of now, the roster is at 62 men. 12 more have to go. If you haven’t learned anything about this team yet, familiarize yourself with this one concept immediately.

The unexpected should be the expectation. Here are three very familiar faces that run the risk of being left off of the team Philly expects to take to D.C. to meet the Washington Football Team.
