1. Philadelphia Eagles fans need only check the tape.

Cre’Von made a great impression on Birds fans by making some big plays. Most notably, he went battled Odell Beckham Jr. and knocked away a pass that would’ve been the go-ahead touchdown. That helped the Eagles win a do-or-die matchup and stay alive in the playoff race. His physicality and confidence won over the Philly crowd.

Later that season, he had a career-high eight tackles versus the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday night football in week fifteen. Many of those tackles prevented first downs and forced the Rams to punt most of the night.

In the playoffs, he was the highest-graded cornerback in football. Against the Chicago Bears, he had a nice showing versus Anthony Miller, at one point, even making a play to keep the Bears out of the red zone. That was pivotal in a slim 16-15 victory that ended with the now-famous ‘double-doink’. One week later, he picked off Drew Brees on the New Orleans Saints’ first offensive play of the game. Cre’Von earned respect from the city of Philadelphia and became one of the notable slot corners in the league.

He wasn’t able to join the team for most of the year in 2019 due to injury but stepped in once again and made plays. LeBlanc had eight tackles and two passes defended in the week 17 win-and-in game versus New York. Then, he had to face Tyler Lockett for the majority of the Wild Card Game.

Lockett was held to just four catches while LeBlanc had two passes defended, four tackles, and one quarterback hit. Even in his short 2019 season, he earned a respectable 69.6 grade from Pro Football Focus. Why is this guy off of the team again?
