2. Dallas Goedert will overtake Zach Ertz as the Philadelphia Eagles top receiver.
This is always a controversial conversation piece. In 2019, the Eagles ran one running back and two tight ends over 50 percent of the time.

Ertz had 88 receptions for 916 yards with six touchdowns while Goedert hauled in 58 receptions for 607 yards and five trips to the end zone, but this season feels different. There’s the distraction of Ertz’s contract negotiations (or lack thereof) hanging over this Eagles franchise.
Now it is worth noting that both are under contract for the next two years, but this 2020 season could be crucial for Goedert. The 2018 second-round selection is young, but he’s on track to be a top-ten tight end in the league. Some say that he already is, and Ertz’s body language during Week 1’s loss might be adding a few more check marks to Goedert’s ledger.
A younger target for Wentz (and likely a cheaper one than Ertz) may be more appealing for the Eagles organization. More targets might mean that his stock will rise, and if Ertz can’t post his typical Pro-Bowl type numbers, Goedert is more than ready to fill the void.
