Don’t panic yet if you’re a Philadelphia Eagles fan.

Philly’s got a ton of core players they’d like to keep in the fold, but they may want to also consider shedding some of their more expensive guys, whether that be by trade or some other transaction. According to Overthecap.com, here are Philly’s highest-paid players heading into 2021:

Carson Wentz ($34.6 million), Fletcher Cox ($22.4 million), Alshon Jeffery ($18.4 million), Brandon Graham ($17.9 million), Lane Johnson  ($17.8 million), Darius Slay ($15.7 million), Javon Hargrave ($15.2 million), Brandon Brooks ($14.5 million), Malik Jackson ($13.6 million), and Zach Ertz ($12.4 million).

That’s a ton of money that we’re talking about. Those ten players, as good as they are, account for over $177 million ($1 million over the cap). For Philly to get under the 2021 cap number, here’s an idea of what could be done.
