. . DK Metcalf, Hawks. . player. 36.

Yes Philadelphia Eagles fans, we’re discussing D.K. Metcalf.

As long as JJ Arcega-Whiteside remains on the Philadelphia Eagles roster, Birds fans are never going to be able to look over at what the Seattle Seahawks are doing without housing a little wide receiver envy.

Actually, that isn’t correct. There isn’t an Eagles fan in the Delaware Valley or anywhere else on Planet Earth that doesn’t still look at D.K. Metcalf, now 35 games into his NFL career (if you include his playoff appearances), without wondering what could have been.

Regardless of what could have been, here’s what has actually happened. Those 35 NFL games have resulted in 157 receptions, 2518 receiving yards, and 20 trips to paydirt.

JJAW, on the other hand, has a grand total of 14 receptions and one receiving touchdown on his NFL resume. He’s also credited with another touchdown, but that doesn’t seem fair as he basically scored that one by accident. He fell on a Miles Sanders fumble after ‘Boobie’ had done all of the heavy lifting.

Say what you want to say about D.K. and his sideline tirade during the most recent Wild Card Round of the NFC Playoffs. If anyone on Philly’s roster displayed that type of emotion or cared that much (or even showed the hustle that D.K. displayed when he ran Budda Baker down after that interception, Philly might have won three or four more games this season.
