What would a lineman-only Philadelphia Eagles mock draft look like?

We’ve now made it past college all-star games. Philadelphia Eagles fans can look forward to pro days and workouts. Due to COVID-19 precautions, the handling of these events will be different this year but still exciting nonetheless. With that being said, we’re moving on with another mock. This one will be a little bit different though.

In previous mock drafts on our site, you’ve seen the Eagles take popular picks such as Ja’Marr Chase, DeVonta Smith, and Patrick Surtain. We even did one featuring prospects that were unexpected lands as we all know how unpredictable Eagles general manager Howie Roseman can be. Well, we had some fun with this one as well and decided to mix things up.

This one features linemen only. Don’t panic when you don’t see a corner, wide receiver, or linebacker in this mock draft. We’ll have plenty of other mocks for that, but we’re focusing on the trenches in this one. Fans know how important this was for the Eagles in their championship-winning season in 2017-2018.

Winning in the trenches is where it all starts. It was evident in Super Bowl 55. Patrick Mahomes was running for his life on every play due to a banged-up offensive line. On the other side of the coin, we saw how a dominant pass rush helped the Tampa Bay Buccaneers start a winning streak that led them to a second Vince Lombardi Trophy.

Linemen are the real MVPs, and that’s why we’re taking a look at some of the prospects who the Birds might be able to pick up early on in this year’s draft. Let’s not waste any more time. Here’s how things shape up.
