3. This Philadelphia Eagles wideout has a pro bowl season but won’t make the roster.

Here’s something that life should have taught you by now. It isn’t fair. Sometimes, people don’t get what they deserve. Sometimes, the people who ought to win don’t. Come on. You’ve seen the Grammy Awards right?

Football’s version of the Grammys is the Pro Bowl, the NFL’s all-star team, and let’s be frank guys and gals. The whole thing’s kind of become a popularity contest.

Often, voters tap the ballot for all of the guys on their team. They sometimes go with name recognition. That’s why you see a lot of the same guys get the nomination. Think Fletcher Cox.

Sure, he’s a future Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee and the Eagles’ best player, but did he really deserve to be voted onto the Pro Bowl roster? What about Brandon Graham? How has he only been voted onto the squad once? You can make a successful argument that he, at least, deserves two more.

Add Reagor to the list of potential snubs in 2021. Is he Jefferson? No, he isn’t, but he’ll shine in 2021. He’ll be deserving of his spot, but he’ll be edged out by some of the more popular guys like D.K. Metcalf and, well, Justin Jefferson. Still, even with that being said, expect the bounce-back year in Reagor’s second season that you thought you’d get from JJ Arcega-Whiteside in 2020.
